SFD17 Event Registration

Following a two year absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic we are delighted to be returning in 2022 on Wednesday 25th May 2022 at the home of Staveley MWFC.

The format of the event in 2022 has changed slightly with both the Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday Fans teams being involved in warm up games against Supporting Charities FC. Sheffield United Fans will take on the team of celebrities and ex professionals on 3rd March 2021 with the Sheffield Wednesday Fans taking them on a week later on Thursday 10th March 2021. Both games will take place at the AA Van Hire Stadium in Bradford with 7:45pm kick-offs. These games will be played in front of a crowd.

We have taken the decision to continue to freeze the participation fees and minimum sponsorship levels once again with the only difference this year being a one off £10 fee to be paid on confirmation of your place to cover the costs of staging the warm-up games (Which is being organised and hosted by Supporting Charities FC on our behalf).

This therefore means the fees to participate are as below:
Player registration: £40 plus a £10 fee for the warm up game.
Minimum sponsorship: £60

Event registration will close at midnight on Tuesday 30th November 2021. The registration form and terms & conditions documents can be seen below. Please make sure that you return your completed form in good time to the email specified on the document. If you need a different version of the form or any support during the event registration process please do let us know.

Following the deadline both management teams will invite candidates to the open trial session where two squads of 16/17 will be decided.
